The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-
Gerard O'Leary, trainer of Wee Charlie (Off feed) - €200385A Paddy Power 3-Y-O M'dn Hdle
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.E Buckley, rider of Babich, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was green early, ridden to finish and got tired after the last.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Babich, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.
Sam Ewing, rider of Wendrock (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from the turn in.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Raydamann (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Wendrock (FR), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed first, and Galileo Dame, ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed second, where it appeared Galileo Dame had to switch. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sam Ewing stated that his mount landed steeply and pulled the right rein through his hand resulting in his mount moving in slightly. J. J. Slevin stated that things got tight and he had to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
385B Paddy Power Beginners S'chaseD.A. Jacob, rider of It's For Me (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up lame. The IHRB Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed that the animal had sustained an injury.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.M. McDonagh, rider of No Flies On Him, trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced early and then ran on past tired horses as he felt the leaders had gone too hard and the race fell apart.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of No Flies On Him, ridden by M.M. McDonagh, and trained by E. J. O'Grady. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. M.M. McDonagh stated that his instructions were to jump off mid division and do the best he could. He added that all the classier horses were in front of him and he gave his mount two before turning in and another couple in the home straight. E. J. O'Grady confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He added that his charge has been disappointing since winning a maiden which has worked out poorly. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that No Flies On Him was post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations given.
385C Paddy's Rewards Club S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Found A Fifty, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a slight bilateral nasal discharge post race.
385D Paddy Power Future Champions Novice HdleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sea Of Sands (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.
385E Spinal Injuries Ireland H'cap H'dleD.A. Jacob, rider of Batman Girac (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran way too free.
C.M. Quirke, rider of Metamorpheus, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
385F Paddy Power S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. D. Cullen, that K. Callaghan, rider of Aime Desjy (FR) had disobeyed his instructions. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that K. Callaghan was in breach of Rule 208(v)(b), in that he had not complied with the instructions from the starter and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended K. Callaghan for two racedays.
D. King, rider of Lucid Dreams, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured.
Anna McGuinness, rider of Klarc Kent (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.
385G Paddy Power The Flat One INH Flat RaceMr H.C. Swan, rider of American Jukebox, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room in the straight and received pressure from his outside.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving American Jukebox, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, placed second, and Karate Kid, ridden by Mr R.W. Barron, placed first, where it appeared American Jukebox ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. H. C. Swan stated that he received two bumps and his mount became very unbalanced. Mr. R. W. Barron stated that his mount drifted in but he felt he left enough room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. R. W. Barron, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr. R. W. Barron for two racedays.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin F. O'Donnell, trainer of Katie's World regarding the fact that he presented his charge to run without hind shoes when prior permission was not granted in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 16. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards allowed the animal to run without hind shoes on this occasion. They did, however find Mr. O'Donnell in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

Prior to the running of race five and six, The Raceday Stewards met with a delegation including Riders, Trainer Representative, Medical team, Judge and IHRB Clerk of the Course to discuss the deteriorating visibility during the previous race. Having considered the views of all and considered the measures put in place for the upcoming races, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied to proceed on a race by race basis
