The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Twentyfourcarrot (GB), trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
S. Fitzgerald, rider of Twentyfourcarrot (GB), trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
386C Tim & Martin Molony Veterans H'cap S'chJ.G. Gilligan, rider of Jacksons Gold, trained by Ms. Alice Curran, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was injured in running.
386F Roche's Feeds H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the bend after the winning line with a circuit to race involving Bridie's Beau, ridden by S. Fitzgerald, Chartwell's Lady, ridden by Partick M, O'Brien, One Horse Army, ridden by Dylan White and Scarlet Purse, ridden by S.D. Torrens, where it appeared Scarlet Purse stumbled after getting tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.D. Torrens stated that it got tight for a stride from both sides and he wasn't sure if he clipped a heel or took a false step. Patrick.M O'Brien stated that he maintained his racing line rounding the bend. Dylan White stated that he felt it was general bunching at the point of the bend. S. Fitzgerald stated that while he maneuvered off heels he felt it was general bunching as horses rounded the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. Fitzgerald , was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Kanpai, trained by J.A. Nash, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.
386G Whitebox Property Group H'cap H'dleK.C. Sexton, rider of Nathan Wells (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Island McCoo, trained by Darren Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
