The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on approaching the second last hurdle involving En Or (FR), ridden by Sam Ewing, placed second, and Shoot The Blues (GB), ridden by Mr F. Maguire, placed third where it appeared En Or ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sam Ewing stated that he was coming with a run down the inside and ran out of room as a result of Shoot The Blues moving inwards. Mr. F. Maguire stated that he was moving towards the inner racing line and was unaware of En Or making ground behind him until he heard a shout and maneuvered back to his original racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise Mr F Maguire to ride with more awareness in future.
Sam Ewing, rider of En Or (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had a look at the wing of the second last hurdle.
388B CUBE M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Freddie's Back trained by E. McNamara had blood at both nostrils post race.
J.G. Gilligan, rider of Tell Me Again, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the second last hurdle.
C.P. McNamara, rider of Freddie's Back, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.
388C D Pack Packaging H'cap H'dleM.P. O'Connor, rider of Lucky Viv, trained by Michael Barry, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled on the bend heading out on the last circuit and hung right thereafter .
C.M. Quirke, rider of Buck Rogers, trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise before the second last.
388E CampionInsurance Tim Duggan Mem. Hcp SchA.P. Kelly, rider of The Big Chap, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount appeared to go wrong on approching the second last fence which resulted in him pulling up but felt sound shortly after.
388F Infinity Lifts H'cap H'dleP.K. Donovan, rider of Shuil Na Tra, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last hurdle and was pulled up.
388G Doherty Woodshavings INH Flat RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mossy Way, trained by P.M.J.Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Mr D. Doyle, rider of Mossy Way, trained by P.M.J.Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keen.
