L.T. McAteer, rider of Rock Of Ireland, trained by Alan McIntyre, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

J.A. Powell, rider of Golden Temple, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became unbalanced turning in. Having reviewed the incident the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
K.G. Kennedy, rider of Barrier (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
173F Silken Thomas And Lock 13 H'capC.D. Hayes, rider of Blue Soul, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very badly hampered after a furlong.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after a furlong involving Tea Olive (FR), ridden by B.M. Coen, Latin, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, Blue Soul, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Kentucky Gal, ridden by J. Velazquez where it appeared Blue Soul got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that he jumped smart, he tried to slot into a position when it got very congested and he had very little room. J.M. Sheridan stated that looked across a number of times and ensured he was clear and didn't cause any interference. B.M. Coen stated that he jumped well, horses funnelled a bit and he hadn't the pace to go forward and he took back. J.R. Velazquez stated that he held his line throughout the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
173G Fitzpatrick's Apprentice Derby H'capThe Raceday Stewards considered a request from D.J. Bunyan, trainer of Jurality (GB), to nominate R.M. Mulligan to ride in this race owing to the difficulty he had in finding a suitable rider prior to the deadline due to the conditions of the race. Having considered the request, the Raceday Stewards allowed the rider nomination of R.M. Mulligan and took no further action.
The Raceday Stewards informed Gavin Cromwell, trainer that Robbies Rock (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
Adam Caffrey, rider of L'Un Deux Trois, trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled out of the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Valleyoftheeagles, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) and having taken his record (first offence) into account suspended him for three race days.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Gabriella Hill, rider of Model Approach, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) and having taken her record into account (second offence) suspended her for four race days.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lady Christa, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed S.R Markey, rider of Gracesolution, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) and having taken his record into account (second offence) suspended him for four race days.
D. King, rider of Autocrat, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slipped behind turning in.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident involving Sub Rosa (GB), ridden by S.P. Bird, where it appeared his mount lost its balance turning in. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
