The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Miss A.B. O'Connor rode Joe Masseria, trained by H.D. McGuigan (Race 6)(Stewards' Permission - see enquiry)

174A Barronstown Stud Irish EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rock Of Cashel, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

174B Airlie Stud Stakes

W.J. Lee, rider of American Bar, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined American Bar, trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Easy Mover, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went left out of the stalls.

W.M. Lordan, rider of January, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the final furlong.

174D Cairn Community Games Pretty Polly Stks

D. Egan, rider of Stay Alert (GB), trained by Hughie Morrison (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't act on the ground.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two and a half furlongs out involving Maxux, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, Tasmania (GER), ridden by L. Morris, and Content, ridden by R.L. Moore where it appeared Maxux checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.L. Moore stated that he felt Tasmania stepped to the right but he received no interference. M.P. Sheehy stated that Tasmania drifted slightly onto his filly and he took a little check after receiving slight contact. L. Morris stated that he had his stick in his left hand and was keeping straight, when he raised his whip arm he felt his filly shift and put his hands back on the reins and corrected. He further stated that his whip got tangled in his reins at this point. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action. Mr. Peter N. Reynolds, Acting Steward, recused himself from this enquiry.

174E Al Basti Equiworld International Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Empress Of Beauty (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen early on.

174F Kildare Village Ladies Derby H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.D. McGuigan, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Joe Masseria. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that he was unsure whether the animal was going to run and left it too late to nominate a rider. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the nomination of Miss A.B. O'Connor but found the trainer in breach of Rule 195(i) and having take his record into account imposed a fine of €200.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately one furlong from the finish involving Good Heavens, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, Bialystok, ridden by Miss J. Townend, Jungle Cove, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, and San Martino, ridden by Aileen O'Sullivan where it appeared Bialystok got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Siobhan Rutledge stated that she missed the break, has come to make a run when her mount got intimidation but it didn't affect her, she heard a shout and corrected. Aileen O'Sullivan stated that she kept a straight line when she got tight for room. Miss J. Townend stated that her horse was beaten when Jungle Cove came across, she gave a shout and received interference. Rachael Blackmore stated that she was on the outside, her mount leaned in marginally for half a stride and the incident was due to a sandwiching effect. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards felt the incident was caused by interference from both sides and did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bialystok, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Miss G. Benson, rider of Scholarship, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was slowly away.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Jungle Cove, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was slowly away.

174G Molton Brown EBF Median Auction M'dn

P.A. Harnett, rider of Sibari, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up in the stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Lucky Melody, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.
