The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. Horgan rode Senado Square (GB) (reserve) trained by Andrew Slattery (Race 2)
C.D. Hayes rode Below Deck (reserve) trained by Luke Comer (Race 2)
G.F. Carroll replaced L.F. Roche on Super Over, trained by D P Coakley (Race 5)(unwell)
M.P. Sheehy replaced C.P. Hoban on Whatharm, trained by Patrick J.Flynn (Race 5)(Stewards permission)

334A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Raceday Stewards fined Daniel James Murphy, trainer €65 for failing to fit cheek pieces to Thatsthebestoneyet prior to entering the parade ring.

B.M. Coen, rider of Tarsus, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

W.J. Lee, rider of Woohoo, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged a bit right in the straight.

334B View Restaurant At Dundalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.P. Hoban, rider of Samrogue, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C.P. Hoban was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for five racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Adams Barbour, ridden by L.T. McAteer, unplaced, Maggie Thunder, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, and Silver Nemo, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed fifth, where it appeared Adams Barbour had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.T. McAteer stated he had to take a check when the horses were passing him. D.P. McDonogh stated that he was trying to negotiate a passage through runners that were back pedaling. Siobhan Rutledge felt she was keeping a straight line and did not contribute to the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Adams Barbour, trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a precautionary check about one furlong down.

The Raceday Stewards informed Andrew Slattery, trainer that Senado Square (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

334C Gateway Hotel Dundalk Race & Stay H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Mehman (GB), ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed sixth, and Jered Maddox (GB), ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, where it appeared Jered Maddox got carried right by Mehman. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.G. McCullagh stated that his mount went right suddenly under a left hand drive. N.M. Crosse stated that he was carried right by the horse on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found N.G. McCullagh was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Nakassama, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight.

334E Parkview Provisions H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Benavente (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 4 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Free Solo, ridden by J.A. Powell, unplaced, Dan Night Andday, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, and Super Over, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Powell stated that he had to check slightly. W.J. Lee stated that his mount went right in the last hundred yards but felt he corrected him as quick as possible. G.F. Carroll stated that he received pressure from his left close to the line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards informed H.D. McGuigan, trainer that Coviglia, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Run The Jewels, trained by Michael McCullagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got struck into behind and had a cut above his hock post race.

334G Story Of Dundalk Stadium Book H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Bold Approach, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, unplaced, and Ameerat Jumaira (GB), ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed third, where it appeared Bold Approach had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.G. McCullagh stated that he had to take a check when Ameerat Jumaira came to meet him. R.P. Whelan stated that he was edging left for a run. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R.P. Whelan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for eight racedays.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Oriole (GB), trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Bold Approach, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was back pedaling when receiving interference at the two furlong pole.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Ameerat Jumaira (GB), trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged left in the straight.
