The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tomas O Maille, trained by M. Flannery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race and showing signs of delayed recovery.
333B Littleton H'cap S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards informed John Joseph Hanlon, trainer of Sefton Warrior (GB), that a repeat performance from his charge, who refused to line up, may render the animal liable to suspension in the future
S. Ewing, rider of Go Battle, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
333C Templemore (Mares) M'dn H'dleMiss J. Townend, rider of Straight Home, trained by Timothy Townend, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung right throughout.
T. Ryan, rider of Annie Beag, trained by W.J.Austin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped green.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, Miss J. Townend, rider of Straight Home, trained by Timothy Townend, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount went to pull up down the back straight but is fit and well and ran on past tired horses.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, L.A. McKenna, rider of Sineads Fancy, trained by Stephen Ryan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free early on and jumped terribly. .
333D Two-Mile Borris H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Duke Otto, ridden by G.B. Noonan, placed first, Forever Frankie, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, unplaced, and Outdoor Mozzy, ridden by Miss P. Elvin, placed sixth, where it appeared there was contact between the three. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
333E Ballagh (Mares) H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Atimetodream, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
333G Irish Stal. Farms EBF Auction Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss P. Elvin, rider of Fernhill Fling, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss P. Elvin was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g(excessive frequency) and having considered her record in this regard the Raceday Stewrads suspended Miss. P. Elvin for four racedays.
Emmet Mullins, trainer of Charlie Buckett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge scoped badly post race.
