Owing to low-lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence one to be omitted from this race.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Bynx, trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action coming down the hill but seemed fine after pulling up.
