The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

158A Knocknarea Opportunity Claiming H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the start of this race where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

158B Hazelwood (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.P. Millar, rider of Sainte Baol (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C.P. Millar was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(i)(time to respond). Having considered his record in this regard (third offence under Regulation 10), they suspended him for twenty racedays.

C. Owens, rider of Ballycommon Chapel, trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout and jumped left.

158C RSS Record Storage Opportunity M'dn Hdle

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a two minute delay to this race

R.P. Geoghegan, rider of Lauras Spirit, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount took a false step on the bend past the stands on the first circuit.

158D1 Lake Isle Of Innisfree H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident close to the line involving Verbal Sparring, ridden by C.P. Millar, placed first, Moulane West, ridden by H. Morgan, placed third, and Boston Bobby, ridden by P.J. O'Hanlon, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.P. Millar stated that he felt he wasn't involved in the incident and straightened his mount up as soon as he began to drift. H. Morgan stated that Boston Bobby drifted across in front of him and just landed on top of him on the line. He further added that he felt it didn't affect his finishing position. P.J. O' Hanlon stated that Verbal Sparring kept drifting in front of him which caused his mount to drift over to the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the second last involving Lucky Storm, ridden by J. Coen, unplaced, and Moulane West, ridden by H. Morgan, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Coen stated that he landed half a length down, was going backwards and it just got a bit tight momentarily. H. Morgan stated that he kept a straight line as he was aware of Lucky Storm on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

158D2 Lake Isle Of Innisfree H'cap H'dle

A. McCurtin, rider of Tomas O Maille, trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened quickly.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the bend into the straight involving Milteye (GB), ridden by R.A. Doyle, where it appeared to fall independently. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

158E Kevin Egan Cars H'cap H'dle

C.P. Millar, rider of Getabelle, trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Mayday Games, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly and pulled up.

J. Coen, rider of Our Girl Sal, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly and pulled up.

158F Glasshouse Hotel (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lovely Reaction, trained by Thomas Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr J.P. Sutton, rider of Joya Del Mar, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr J.P. Sutton was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

158G Ir Stall Farms EBF (M)(PA) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Ellen Kelly trained by W.P. Mullins was found to have blood at one nostril post race.

Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Barnahash Arch, trained by Jonathan Sweeney, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung very badly left.

Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Barnahash Arch, trained by Jonathan Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left and ran keen.
