The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Emeric, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from John C. McConnell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Hasten Slowly, placed first, as compared with its most recent form. Mr. McConnell reported that his charge was hampered the last day when a rider was unseated in front of her causing a loss of momentum. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

J. Kearney, rider of Goodbye Venice, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran up on heels turning for home.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.W Hassett, rider of Hanoi, trained by Padraig Roche, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was awkward to get into stride when the stalls opened, never travelled and hung at times.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Mapa (CAN), trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
L.F. Roche, rider of Coruscate, trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.
159D Jim Ryan Memorial H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident two furlongs from the finish involving Lady Lunette, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed second, and School Of Law, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed sixth, where it appeared that School Of Law had to alter its stride. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. A. Powell stated that his mount got unbalanced at that point in the race and was satisfied that Lady Lunette had caused him very little if any interference. B.M. Coen stated that he was waiting behind Spanish Tenor for a run and felt he had timed it correctly and although both animals had raced tight he felt he had not caused interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Snellen, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left when she went in front.
159E Anglo Printers H'capK.G. Kennedy, rider of Zahee, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly into stride when the stalls opened, didn't get a run when he was travelling well in the straight and failed to get going again when a gap appeared.

159G Big Boss Events H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident just after turning in involving Killeemore Lad, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed first, and Mephisto, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed sixth, where it appeared Mephisto suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.J. Slattery stated his mount went violently right when he asked him to quicken. C.T. Keane stated he was taken off his line as Killeemore Lad crossed him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A.J. Slattery was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at around the furlong pole involving Firm Belief, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fifth, Mephisto, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed sixth, and Figurehead, ridden by J. Cleary, placed fourth, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan and C.T. Keane both stated they received pressure from their outside. J. Cleary stated his mount leaned right but felt he tried to straighten him up. He further added that he thought he was clear of the horses on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Cleary was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Killeemore Lad, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Firm Belief, trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little unbalanced in the straight.
C.T. Keane, rider of Mephisto, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was interfered with twice in the straight.
