The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P. Byrnes rode Nelsons Dawn (reserve) trained by Edward Cawley (Race 3)

061B Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Eoin G. Kelly, rider of The Nagger Reidy (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record (second offence) they suspended him for five racedays.

061D SIS H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Springt De La Mare (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race and to have evidence of kickback at both nostrils.

061E Hugh McMahon Novice S'chase

J.C. Gainford, rider of Shannon Royale, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Monbeg Park, trained by Sean Thomas Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

061F Racing TV H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Sainte Dona (FR) trained by Thomas Cooper had blood at both nostrils post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Clonmeen, at the request of trainer, William P Murphy, and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Sainte Dona (FR), trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Clonmeen, trained by William P Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel.

061G Kevin McManus Champion (Pr-Am) Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed T.P. Harney, rider of Scarriff Bridge, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record (second offence) they suspended him for five racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Carrigmoorna Beech, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident turning into the straight involving Oneinthewell, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, unplaced, Light Up The Dark (GB), ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed first, and Scarriff Bridge, ridden by T.P. Harney, placed fourth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
