The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Oliver McKiernan, trainer of No Looking Back (Off-Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. E. Mullins replaced M.P. Walsh on Gentleman De Mee (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 3)(Stood Down)
D. E. Mullins replaced M.P. Walsh on Gentleman De Mee (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 3)(Stood Down)
S.D. Torrens replaced M.P. Walsh on Ilikedwayurthinkin, trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 4)(Stood Down)

027A ISF EBF Paddy Mullins (Mares) H'cap Hdle

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of De Lady In Red, trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was impeded at the first.

P. Townend, rider of Historique Reconce (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly impeded at the last hurdle.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference at the final hurdle involving Historique Reconce (FR), ridden by P. Townend, placed second, Banntown Girl, ridden by D.E. Mullins, placed third, and Ballybawn Belter, ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed first, where it appeared interference had taken place. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, P. Townend stated that he suffered both intimidation on the approach and interference at the last hurdle. D.E. Mullins stated that he received pressure from his outside at the final hurdle. S.D. Torrens stated that his mount had jumped slightly left at the final hurdle and any interference was accidental and that he had won going away. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while interference had taken place, Ballybawn Belter had not improved her finishing position as a result of this interference, so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings furthermore the raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had been committed and therefore took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after turning in involving Innatendue (FR), ridden by L.A. McKenna,unplaced, Still Ciel, ridden by S.W. Flanagan,unplaced, Banntown Girl, ridden by D.E. Mullins placed third, and Marvel Fan (FR), ridden by P.J. Carberry where it appeared Still Ciel had hit the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sean Flanagan stated that he had received pressure from his outside causing him to hit the rail. Liam McKenna stated that he had received pressure from his outside causing him to tighten S. Flanagan on his inside. P. J. Carberry stated that that he had to take back off heels to prevent clipping and therefore tightened up horses on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning in involving Sainte Dona (FR), ridden by B.J. Cooper, unplaced, and Mollys Glory, ridden by C.M. Quirke where it Mollys Glory caught a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B. Cooper stated that he was swamped by runners turning in and his filly stopped quickly. C.M. Quirke stated that he was riding an inside line and when B. Cooper moved in he switched out and caught a heel. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted but reminded C. Quirke of his obligation to make a report of incidents in future.

027C Ladbrokes Dublin S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blue Lord (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Blue Lord (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount felt flat throughout the race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blue Lord (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Gentleman De Mee (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. D.J.Casey authorised representative stated that the horse ran flat after his run at sandown park. He also stated that the drying spring ground contributed to todays performance. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

027D Bulmers Leopardstown H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, J. R. Banahan, that Shane Fenelon, rider of Foxy Jacks had broke rank from the other riders and refused to comply with his instructions. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. Fenelon in breach of R.208 in that he disobeyed the starters instructions and having cosidered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.N. Russell, rider of The Goffer, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, D.N. Russell stated that he thought he had kept within the limit but misjudged it and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.N.Russell was in breach of R10(3)(g) frequency. Having considered his record in this regard, The Raceday Stewards cautioned D.N.Russell on this occasion.

027F Tattersalls Ireland Novice H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Facile Vega, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for the second last hurdle to be omitted for this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Facile Vega, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Irish Point (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

027G Festina Lente Charity Liffey H'cap H'dle

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for the second last hurdle to be omitted for this race.

027H Coolmore NH Sires EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss A.B. O'Connor, rider of Rockstown Girl, concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Miss A.B. O' Connor in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) frequency and having considered her record in this regard they suspended her for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr T.P. Harney, rider of Bop Bop Bobbin, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. T.P. Harney in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) frequency and considered his record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday.

Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Marie Philippe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge scoped wrong post race.
