The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Peter Fahey, trainer of A Law Of Her Own (Ran yesterday) - €200.
John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Grange Walk (Ran recently) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

M.J.M. O'Sullivan replaced S. O'Callaghan on Be Fierce, trained by T.M. Walsh (Race 2)(injured).
H. Morgan replaced S. O'Callaghan on Phildante, trained by Eoin Doyle (Race 5)(injured).
S.F. O'Keeffe replaced S. O'Callaghan on Rebelle Chaud, trained by Alan Donoghue (Race 8)(injured).

347A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) Beg S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Air Drop, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Air Drop, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

347B Gerry Comerford Drilling Beginners S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hardy Diamond, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.E. Sexton, rider of Brucejack, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. H.E. Sexton accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found H.E. Sexton in breach of R.10.3(g) (frequency) and in considering his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the home bend involving Noble Blue (FR), ridden by R. Deegan, unplaced, and Tell Nobody Nothin, ridden by Sam Ewing, placed sixth, where it appeared they got close together as they turned in. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Hardy Diamond, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

347C Noreside Catering H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Gaelic Arc trained by John Patrick Ryan was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

347D PRL Group M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.E Buckley, rider of Kazakh D'arthel (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hesitated and was slowly away.

Sam Ewing, rider of Pearl Of Australia, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently left and was difficult to steer or pull up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Sam Ewing, rider of Pearl Of Australia, trained by Noel Meade, concerning the fact he did not pull up after leaving the race after the fourth hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount was hanging violently right and proved a very difficult ride, and after running out he was unable to pull his mount up completely. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied with the explanation given.

347E Proficient Engineering Irish EBF Mdn Hdl

The Raceday Stewards reviewed where Roc My Haarth, ridden by L. Quinlan, unplaced, and Light Of Life, ridden by J. Coen, collided over the fourth hurdle resulting in J. Coen being unseated. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

347F GAIN Equine Nutrition Novice H'cap H'dle

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Single Edition, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up out of control.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Single Edition, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

347G1 Pat Carroll's Pub Kilkenny (M) Hcap Hdle

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Realtin Lonrach, trained by M.F.O'Dowd, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first hurdle.

P.T. Enright, rider of Stowaway Lass, trained by S. Curling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the last hurdle.

347G2 Pat Carroll's Pub Kilkenny (M) Hcap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Letters To Juliet trained by Patrick Downey was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.
