The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

W. Joyce rode Man Is King (reserve) trained by Thomas Dowling (Race 7)

346B William Hill More Top Prices Appr. H'cap

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Bright N Shine, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ducked out from the rail coming out of the backstraight.

346C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident leaving the stalls involving Ballyneety Girl, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, and Misappropriation, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, where it appeared Misappropriation went left leaving the stalls and interfered with Ballyneety Girl. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Misappropriation jumping markedly left despite the riders best efforts and took no further action.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Ballyneety Girl, trained by Shane Crawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

C.T. Keane, rider of Misappropriation, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left out of the stalls.

346D Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cooley (F) Stks

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Cloud Cover, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, Quadruple (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, and Red Viburnum, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared Cloud Cover had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that his mount quickened well but the gap closed before he was in it and he had to take a check. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount was tiring but felt he was ahead of Cloud Cover at all times. G.F. Carroll stated that he kept a straight line the whole way up the straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

W.J. Lee, rider of Cloud Cover, trained by James Tate (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to take a check.

346E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

Adam Caffrey, rider of No Return, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran too free early on.

346F William Hill Top Price Guarantee H'cap

The Raceday Stewards informed Stephen Thorne, trainer, that Sayifyouwill (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blues Emperor, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Black Storm, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. McGettigan, rider of Blues Emperor, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right out of the stalls.

M.W Hassett, rider of Walhaan, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference coming out of the stalls. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards advised Stephen Thorne, trainer of Sayifyouwill (GB), that a repeat performance from his charge, who refused to load, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

346G1 William Hill Proper Betting H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of River Derwent (GB), trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages involving Higher Kingdom (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, and Man Is King, ridden by W. Joyce , placed second, where it appeared slight contact was made between the two horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

346G2 William Hill Proper Betting H'cap

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, R.M Mulligan, rider of Storm Eric, trained by Jamie Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away and never got into a rhythm thereafter.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Daniel James Murphy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Tribal Moon, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Daniel James Murphy reported that it was his charges first time on the all weather track and the return of the tongue strap may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
