The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Karl Der Grosse (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race.
175C Rockshore Novice SchaseThe Stewards interviewed G. Brouder, rider of My Manekineko (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G. Brouder was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.
175E Guinness Galway H'dle H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wonder Laish (GB), trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have presented with a wound on the right hind above the hock, possibly as a result of being struck into.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aramax (GER), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
R.M. Power, rider of Wonder Laish (GB) trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first and was badly hampered at the second which ended his chances.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Felix Desjy (FR), at the request of trainer, Gordon Elliott, and reported the animal to have blood at the nostrils possibly as a result of falling.
175G Open Gate Pure Brew H'cap H'dleThe Stewards interviewed Mr R. James, rider of Victoria Bay, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr R. James was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.
175H Guinness Time INH Flat RaceMr F. Maguire, rider of Champagne Monarch trained by S.J.Mahon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.
