J.M. Sheridan, rider of Mandarin Monarch trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break and hung right badly in running.

The Stewards interviewed A.J. Farragher, rider of Spelga (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that A.J. Farragher was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A.J. Farragher for 6 racedays pursuant to the provisions R10(6)(a).

330C HOLLYWOODBETS M'dn

G.F. Carroll, rider of Sister Rosetta trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right up the straight.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Russian River trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received a bump before the winning post.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Provocateuse, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, Russian River, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed second and Sister Rosetta, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, and again very near the winning post involving Sister Rosetta and Russian River where it appeared that contact was made. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action. Mr. S. Collins, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

O.J. Orr, rider of Sabrina Fairchild trained by Sarah Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room on the first bend.

B.M. Coen, rider of Sunset Nova trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room on the first bend.

A.J. Farragher, rider of Manhattan Dandy trained by Mrs D.A.Love, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount fly leaped after a furlong.

The Stewards interviewed A.C. Persse, rider of Adams Barbour, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that A.C. Persse was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A.C. Persse for 2 racedays.

The Stewards reviewed an incident close to the finish involving Aikido, ridden by Sam Ewing, Stay Safe, ridden by S. Foley and Let's, ridden by W.J. Lee. Having viewed the recording of that part of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

James J. Doyle, rider of Wicklow Silver trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green during this race.

At the request of the Stewards, Sam Ewing, rider of Aikido, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right in the latter stages of this race.

W.J. Lee, rider of Allez Sophia trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount took a false step on the bend into the straight.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Stanhope (GB) trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was short of room on the bend.

The Stewards interviewed R.C. Colgan, rider of Punters Poet, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that R.C. Colgan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended R.C. Colgan for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Cleary, rider of Nightly Wailing, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that R.P. Cleary was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended R.P. Cleary for 2 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider of Aasleagh Fawn, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that S. Foley was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended S. Foley for 6 racedays pursuant to the provisions of R10(6)(a). Mr S. Collins, Acting Steward, did not attend this enquiry.

S. Foley, rider of Aasleagh Fawn trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned a little to the left in the straight.

The Stewards interviewed G.P. Brouder , rider of My Manekineko (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.P. Brouder was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended G.P. Brouder for 7 racedays. .

The Stewards interviewed M.A. Enright, rider of Important Message (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that M.A. Enright was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended M.A. Enright for 6 racedays pursuant to the provisions of R10(6)(a).
