329A Ladbrokes Giving Extra Places M'dn H'dle
The Stewards enquired into possible interference approxmately 25 yards from the finish involving Grangeclare Native, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed second and Joshua Webb, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Joshua Webb trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right when he hit the front.
D.E. Mullins, rider of Vee Dancer trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in the home straight. He also reported that his mount was moving the bit in it's mouth, possibly as a result of being too loose.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Vee Dancer, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
329C Lismullen H'dleThe Stewards interviewed M.P. Walsh, rider of Sire Du Berlais (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that M.P. Walsh was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.
329E Ladbrokes Troytown H'cap S'chaseRachael Blackmore, rider of Plan Of Attack trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount never travelled.
329F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beg. S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dlauro (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood on the nostrils post race.
A representative of Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Dlauro (FR), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge had burst a blood vessel.
329G Ladbrokes Best Odds Guaranteed Hcap HdleAt the request of the Stewards, P. Townend, rider of Bective Cave, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount is a summer horse that needs better ground and hung left in the home straight.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bective Cave, trained by Matthew J. Smith, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have over reached on the left fore but was otherwise post race normal.
At the request of the Stewards, Matthew J. Smith, trainer of Bective Cave, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to handle the ground and sustained an over reach in running .
329H Navanracecourse.ie H'cap H'dleThe Stewards enquired into possible interference at the last hurdle involving Presenting Meghan, ridden by J.M. Moore, placed second, Walk Me Home, ridden by M.P. Walsh, unseated and King Alex (FR), ridden by M.J. Bolger, placed first, where it appeared that interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental, they made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Eimear trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
