Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of New Money (GB) trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.

331D John Thomas McNamara Series (QR) Hcp Hdl

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.C. O'Donovan, rider of Optum, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 5 race days.

331E1 fairyhouse.ie (QR) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed C.A.McBratney, trainer, concerning the failure to nominate a rider before the designated time for Balgowlah. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that he had tried to nominate Mr. O. McGill prior to the cut-off time but the nomination wasn't accepted at that time due to the rider apparently not being qualified to ride in the race. He was assured by Mr. McGill that he was qualified to ride in the race and following contact with the Offices of the IHRB this was confirmed. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the nomination of Mr. O. McGill and took no further action.

Ms. Maria Kelly, trainer of Balaclava, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her charge was found to be lame post race.

331G Irish EBF (C&G) P-To-P INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr D. Allen, rider of Anglers Crag (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 1 race day.
