The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Patrick J. McKenna, trainer of Wild Mountain (off feed) - €200
Patrick J. McKenna, trainer of No Speed Limit (FR) (off feed) - €200

022B Put The Fun In Fundraising H'cap

R. Whearty, rider of Acheron (GB), trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of What's Your Game, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked very badly towards the gate.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Adrienne, trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green late on.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Heart Beauty, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise turning in and stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Waterford Flow, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed third, What's Your Game, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, placed fifth, and Adrienne, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared What's Your Game went badly right. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J.G. Ryan stated that when he switched his stick through to his left and the horses on his outside pass him, his mount goes completely right towards the gate. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount rolled around but was clear of What's Your Game at the time. D.P. McDonogh stated that he wasn't aware of any incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

022E Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pink Oxalis, trained by Stephen Thorne, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Ferrari Desert (GB), trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

R. Whearty, rider of Still She Blooms (GB), trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went left out of the gates.

J. Cleary, rider of Golden Days, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was squeezed after half a furlong.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Gimmieminnie, trained by M.M. Rice, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately a furlong after leaving the stalls involving Still She Blooms (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, Bucky Larson, ridden by P. McGettigan, unplaced, Golden Days, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, and Amemri (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Cleary stated that he got pressure from his outside and he had to take back. P. McGettigan stated that he received pressure from his outside. L.T. McAteer stated he didn't suffer any interference as he could see it about to happen. R. Whearty stated that his mount was keen and felt he did his best to keep straight. He further added that he was informed from its previous rider that the horse had a tendency to go left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R. Whearty was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Gimmieminnie trained by M.M. Rice was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards fined M.M. Rice, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to Gimmieminnie, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed the Authorised Representative for Mark Fahey, trainer of Ferrari Desert (GB), regarding the late arrival of his charge into the parade Ring. Evidence was heard from the Authorised Representative who stated that the horse can get very hot and apologised for her actions. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mark Fahey was in breach of Rule 32 and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion through his Representative.

022F Leading Trainer&Jockey Championship Hcap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Anvika, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately a furlong and a half from the finish involving Heart Of Darkness (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed third, and Anvika, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed sixth, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Tarsus, trained by John M.Harney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't move well.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Anvika, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that it got tight leaving the backstraight approaching the bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately four and a half furlongs from the finish involving Anvika, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed sixth, and Volatile Analyst (USA), placed second, ridden by J. Cleary where it appeared the two horse came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.C. Colgan stated that Volatile Analyst was leaning on him. J. Cleary stated that when his mount changed legs he leaned in momentarily but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong involving Mint Man (GB), ridden by J. Cleary, placed second, and Jazzy Dancer, ridden by D.S. O'Sullivan, placed third, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.S. O'Sullivan stated that he didn't suffer any interference and it didn't cost him a place. J. Cleary stated that there may have been a slight bump but there wasn't much in it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
