The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.J. O'Connor rode Superior Force (GB) (reserve) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 6)

058A Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

L.T. McAteer, rider of Jered Maddox (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump a furlong and a half down.

S. Foley, rider of Beauty Queen, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled out of the gates.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Dontspoilasale, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Sporting Hero (GB), ridden by D.J. O'Connor, placed second, Jered Maddox (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed first, and Beauty Queen, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that he was caught up on heels for a stride as the horse in front of him drifted right. L.T. McAteer stated that his mount was already in the gap and couldn't take back. D.J. O'Connor stated that as soon as he saw Jered Maddox he corrected his mount immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found D.J. O'Connor was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays. D.J. O'Connor was accompanied by Kevin Borthwick at this enquiry.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Dontspoilasale, ridden by R.P. Whelan, unplaced, Crystal Luna, ridden by Nicola Burns, unseated rider, and Hero Of The Hour (GB), ridden by R. Whearty, placed fifth, where it appeared Crystal Luna clipped a heel and unseated the rider. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Nicola Burns stated that there was a gap there and she let a shout as it started to close. She further added that she was squeezed out and clipped a heel. R. Whearty stated that he heard a shout so he left room and then received a bump after that. He further added he kept a straight line and didn't cause any interference. R.P. Whelan stated that his mount was hanging right and he heard a lot of shouting from his inside so he maneuvered to the right. He further added he was aware of the horse on his outside but did not know Crystal Luna was there also. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R.P. Whelan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for eight racedays. Nicola Burns was accompanied by Kevin Borthwick at this enquiry. Mr. F. Cahill recused himself from this enquiry and Mr. P. Stewart acted as Chairman.

058C Irish Stallion EBF Median Auction M'dn

S.A. Wallace, rider of Glenroyal, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and walked out.

058E Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Proleek Prince, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed sixth, Shoot To Kill, ridden by J. Kearney, placed second, Comfort Line, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed first, and Imperial Fighter, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fifth, where it appeared Proleek Prince ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that Shoot to Kill came across onto his line and he had to take back. Adam Caffrey stated that he felt pressure from his inside and kept a straight line. J. Kearney stated that just as a gap appears Imperial Fighter veers right bringing his mount with him. W.M. Lordan stated that his mount rolled around slightly and was going backwards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. Kearney was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

058F Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Higher Kingdom (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Higher Kingdom (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

058G Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Genoah, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Bucaneer's Spirit, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider, in relation to entering the wrong stall before being brought forward again and led into the correct stall. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and IHRB Starter, Mr. J.R. Banahan. S. Foley stated that he was sure he was entering the wrong stall and he said it to the stall handler a couple of times times who proceeded to lead him in anyway. Mr. J.R. Banahan stated that it was an error on the stall handlers part. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. Foley was in breach of Rule 208(iv) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

058H Dundalk Stadium Winter Series H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Nusra, trained by G. Ahern, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight at the first bend.

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Gallo Dell Cielo, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount rolled around when he hit the front.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Doctor Grace, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

C.D. Fahy, rider of Guest Star (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount veered left from the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Gardone, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keen.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Lord Talbot, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a keen hold.
