The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Mr Vettori, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, and Unbreakable Duke, ridden by K.J. Leonard, placed fourth, where it appeared Mr Vettori had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Foley stated that he had to take a check to avoid running up on heels. K. J. Leonard stated that his mount rolled left and he corrected it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind K. J. Leonard to react quicker when in a similar situation.

S. Foley, rider of Mr Vettori, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a precautionary check one and a half furlongs out.

174C Airlie Stud Stakes

C.D. Hayes, rider of Leblon Queen, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Artista, ridden by D. McMonagle, place fifth, where it appeared she took a false step when getting into stride. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

174E Paddy Power Pretty Polly Stks

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Kalpana (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, and Whirl, ridden by R.L. Moore, placed first, where it appeared they came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

R.L. Moore, rider of Whirl, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount shied away from the camera.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Brian Kavanagh, Chief Executive of the Curragh Racecourse, under the provisions of Rule 13 (i), in relation to the conduct of a photographer who was within five metres of the inside running rail approximately one hundred and fourty yards from the winning post who appeared to catch the eye of the winner causing it to shy from her. Evidence was heard from Brian Kavanagh who stated that he did not know who the photographer was but accepted that she should not have been there. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards referred the matter, without prejudice, to the Referrals Committee for further investigation to allow Mr Kavanagh time to fully investigate the matter.

174F Sherry FitzGerald Ladies Derby H'cap

The Raceday Stewards advised Gerard O'Leary, Trainer of Secret World, that a repeat performance from his charge who refused to race may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

C.J. Worrell, rider of Secret World, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount dwelt in the stalls.

174G Fitzpatrick's Mercedes-Benz H'cap

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Gordon Bennett, trained by Richard Brabazon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump after a furlong and a half.

174H Keadeen Hotel Irish EBF M'dn

A. Browne-Souza, rider of Colter Bay (FR), trained by W.P.Browne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slipped leaving the stalls.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Describe (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Lady Crossing, trained by William J. Fitzpatrick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
