R.L. Moore, rider of Puerto Rico, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to wait for a run.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Kensington Lane, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged left throughout.

173B O'Driscolls Whiskey Irish EBF (F) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for Queen Of Hawaii, to run in accordance with the provision of Rule 90(v) as positive identification can be made but there are discrepancies in the markings as recorded in the Passport. The Trainer shall have 30 days to update the passport to the satisfaction of an IHRB Veterinary Officer/Assistant.

W.J. Lee, rider of Phenomenal Filly, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green for the last two furlongs.

173C JJ Mahon & Sons H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ribchestina, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Exquisite Acclaim, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung slightly right for the last two furlongs.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Quadruple (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Kerri Lyons, Authorised Representative for G. M. Lyons, stated that a drop in class had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Adam Caffrey, rider of Exquisite Acclaim, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adam Caffrey was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Adam Caffrey for two racedays.

173D Diageo Luxury Spirits Irish EBF M'dn

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for Railgun, to run in accordance with the provision of Rule 90(v) as positive identification can be made but there are discrepancies in the markings as recorded in the Passport. The Trainer shall have 30 days to update the passport to the satisfaction of an IHRB Veterinary Officer/Assistant.

The Raceday Stewards informed J.P. Murtagh, trainer, that Elman would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Word For Word, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

173E James Nolan's Bar Kildare Town H'cap

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Tara Lee Cogan for an additional ten minutes to present her charge for identification by an IHRB Veterinary Officer, in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i)

173F Silken Thomas Irish EBF Median Auc. M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Boogie Inthejungle (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Fixation, trained by N. Stokes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

173G Fitzpatrick's Apprentice Derby H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Not Just Any Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, unplaced, Chutzpal, ridden by A.S. Grant, placed third, and Fortuna Vera, ridden by J. Pietropaolo, placed second, where it appeared Not Just Any Eagle ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that her race was run and she was retreating when things got tight. A. S. Grant stated that his mount hung right and he put his stick down and straightened his mount when he heard a shout. J. Pietropaolo stated that the horse on his outside veered in on his mount forcing him inwards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A. S. Grant was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one racedays. In arriving at their decision regarding a sanction the Raceday Stewards took into account that this was the riders second ride. N. G. McCullagh accompanied A. S. Grant at this enquiry.

J. Pietropaolo, rider of Fortuna Vera, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got intimidated a furlong out while holding his line.

M.W Hassett, rider of Cinammon Coco, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Neve Bennett, rider of Barrogstown Girl, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Neve Bennett was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered her record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Neve Bennett for three racedays.
