The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Stephen Thorne, trainer of Never Shout Never (Off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. M. Mulligan rode Real Petite (GER) (reserve) trained by Thomas Mullins (Race 4)

The Raceday Stewards informed Aidan Anthony Howard, trainer, that Lady Mary Heath, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

054C Alkumait At Capital Stud (Fillies) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Vega's Muse (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got quite anxious in the stalls.

D.S. O'Sullivan, rider of Gotomylovely, trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung right throughout.

054D Bermingham Cameras (C&G) M'dn

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.D. Torrens, rider of A Dream To Share, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, confirmed to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount momentarily ran short of room in the closing stages. .

054E Nua Healthcare Irish Lincolnshire

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Raadobarg, trained by Raphael Freire (in GB), at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Catch The Paddy, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

J. Pietropaolo, rider of Casanova (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Raadobarg, ridden by D. Egan, unplaced, and Fratas, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, where it appeared Fratas had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Egan stated that his mount shifted sharply to its left and he corrected him immediately as he was aware of the horse on his outside. W. Joyce stated that his race was run and his mount was retreating when he took a precautionary check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.J. Slattery, rider of Smooth Tom, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. J. Slattery was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended A. J. Slattery for three racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pandion Power, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

054G Nua Healthcare H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Laugh A Minute (GB), trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly bumped out of the stalls. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Laugh A Minute rearing as the gates opened had contributed to the incident and that no further action was warranted.

054H Nua Healthcare H'cap

Alexandra Egan, rider of Tai Tam Bay, trained by Eddie & Patrick Harty, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jumped right from the stalls.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mount Ruapehu, trained by Mark Fahey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
