The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, trainer of Say Yes To Dreams (off feed) - €200
J. S. Bolger, trainer of Eastern Legend (off feed) - €200

161A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a two minute delay to this race.

The Raceday Stewards informed R.P.Cody, trainer, that Dunna Magic, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Dunna Magic, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to load.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Shiota, trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the last furlong.

161B Mallow M'dn

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W. McCreery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Zarra Ellis (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. W. McCreery reported that he left off the visor today and the drop in trip may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Sporting Hero (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Daniel McLoughlin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Bold Optimist, placed first, as compared with its most recent run at the Curragh on the fifth of June. Daniel McLoughlin reported that his charge over raced early on the last day and got no run in the closing stages. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

161D Irish EBF Midsummer Sprint Stks

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a one minute delay to this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ano Syra, trained by John James Feane, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

161E Darley Munster Oaks Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Trevaunance, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left up the straight.

161F Cork Derby

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Take Heart, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth, and Zoffman, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, where it appeared Zoffman shied from the horse on his inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that both horses had a look at the stalls but it made no difference to the placings. B.M. Coen stated that his mount just wandered off the rail as he changed legs. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

161G Cork H'cap

M.W Hassett, rider of Signor Ferrari, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped and lost his lead bag at the furlong pole.
