The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.A. Kidd rode Ash Court (reserve) trained by Liam Lennon (Race 1)

163A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) M'dn H'dle

Daire James McConville, rider of Thecornerbar, trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Legacy Juno trained by S.R.B. Crawford was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Raceday Stewards advised Liam Lennon, trainer of Ash Court, that a repeat performance from his charge, who unseated the rider and got loose before the race, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

163B Northern Ireland Opportunity Hcap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tell Us This, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on its right hind and to have lost a shoe.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Tell Us This, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the track.

163C(i) Randox (QR) H'cap H'dle (Division One)

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss P. Elvin, rider of Cullenwaine, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the Whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Miss P. Elvin was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her record in this regard (fourth offence), they suspended her for seventeen racedays.

Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Tick Along, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he pulled up before the last as his mount felt wrong.

163C(ii) Randox (QR) H'cap H'dle (Division Two)

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Thomas Gibney, trainer of Lucky Two, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

Mr H.C. Swan, rider of How Decc, trained by E.Seymour, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had a trickle of blood on one of his nostrils. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr T. Power Roche, rider of Cramers Valley, concerning his use of the whip during the course of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr T. Power Roche was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence under Regulation 10), they suspended him for four racedays.
