251A Tynan's Bar Irish EBF Med. Auct. M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Rapid City, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green.

S. Foley, rider of Simpson's Paradox, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the track.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Simpson's Paradox, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hokusai, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approaching the road crossing down the back involving Hokusai, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Simpson's Paradox, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, and Wishes And Dreams, ridden by D. McMonagle, unplaced, where it appeared there was contact between the three and Hokusai received a bump. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Double Martini, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount received a bump leaving the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Geological, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fifth, Above It All, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed fourth, and Lisabetta, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared Lisabetta ran short of room and had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. P. Cleary stated that there was contact but he kept his line. Siobhan Rutledge stated that her mount went left when she used her whip but she corrected him as soon as possible. G. M. Ryan stated that the horse on his outer cut in in front of him causing him to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Lisabetta, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered inside the last furlong.

L.F. Roche, rider of Monzoon (GB), trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Geological, trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump close to the line.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Skontonovski (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount dwelt at the start.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Above It All, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount jinked from the whip in the last furlong.

251C Peadar Kearney's Pub H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gosford, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

251D Irish EBF Auction Series M'dn

R.C. Colgan, rider of King Of The Bronx, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Little Miss Peppi, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stumbled at the road crossing.

251E Dolly's Bar & Pantry H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from T.G. McCourt, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Charming Lady, placed first, as compared with its recent form. T. G. McCourt stated that his charge had gone off the boil for her last couple of runs but was freshened up before today. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tamazu, trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled coming down the hill.

251F Gibneys Gormanston (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider of Alalcance (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Foley was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g(excessive frequency). Having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion

251G The Ploughman Bar & Grill (Q.R.) H'cap

Mr P. Hanlon, rider of Fascinating Shadow, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Matthew J. Smith, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Dartan (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Matthew J. Smith stated that his charge was reluctant to go at Galway and the application of first time cheek pieces coupled with better ground today had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
