K.M. Donoghue, rider of Shana Cloon, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake and pulled up.
K. Callaghan, rider of Whatyouwant, trained by Michael C. Griffin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Inforapenny, trained by Mark Fahey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crack The Sky (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
254F1 John Purfield Memorial H'cap H'dle
J.C. Gainford, rider of Take My Hand, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.A Kidd, rider of Highland King, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he lost count and was concentrating on keeping his horse straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his clean record into account suspended him for three race days.

Owing to ground conditions in the area, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for the third last to be omitted from this race.
K. Callaghan, rider of Hollow Spark, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he dropped his whip at the second last.
254G Jim & Niall MacMahon (L) (P-A) Flat Race
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss M.M. McElligott, rider of Barton Snow, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken her record into account (first offence) suspended her for two race days.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Miss A.B. O'Connor, rider of Diamond Tipp, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she was in breach of the whip regulation which was due to her miscounting and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken her record into account (second offence) suspended her for four race days.
