The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Tom McGuinness, trainer of Hastily (GB) (in season - late withdrawal) - €200.

076C 'Domin OH HOO HOO' H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Instant Appeal (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

076E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Heritage Stakes

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the furlong marker involving Mutasarref (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, Lord Massusus, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, and Thalara, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, where it appeared Thalara had to check after getting tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane said he kept his line and didn't cause any interference, G.F. Carroll said his mount drifted slightly left but was promptly corrected. W.J. Lee said he got tight for room and had to check after the horse on his outside rolled left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

S. Foley, rider of Bluedrum, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action turning in.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bluedrum, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Thalara, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to snatch up inside the furlong pole.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Joseph G. Murphy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lord Massusus, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Joseph G. Murphy reported he ran too keen the last day on ground that was too soft for his charge. He further added todays quicker surface and the application of a hood helped bring about the apparent inprovement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

076F FM104 'Giddy Up' H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving The Bear Trap, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fifth, and, Moyassr, ridden by J. Kearney, placed fourth, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen said he received a slight bump but it didn't affect his running. J. Kearney said his mount moved slightly left after he used his whip but ran straight thereafter. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

J.A. Powell, rider of Desert Haven (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he was carried off his line in the last 100 yards.

076G Bulmers Live At Leopardstown H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Browned Off, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed second and Deuteronomy, ridden by Nicola Burns, placed third, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.T. McAteer said his mount rolled around but felt there never was a gap inside him. Nicola Burns said she was going for a gap when it closed as she was getting into it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. However, they were of the opinion that L.T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Half Nutz, trained by Chris Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount dived a bit left from the stalls.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Harry The Rogue, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount fly leapt from the gates.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Browned Off, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Browned Off, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he had crossed to the rail before the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied L.T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for one raceday.
