The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Uncle Phil, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

366D Kettles Supp. Fingal Ravens M'dn H'dleS. Ewing, rider of Ballybow, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount over reached and pulled a front shoe. The IHRB Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed that Ballyhow was lame on its right fore having suffered an over reach and pulled a shoe.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Don'tstopthemusic, trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around turning into the straight.
C.P. Millar, rider of Theophilos, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Interchangeable (GB), trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced early and stayed on.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.M. Donoghue, rider of His Nibs, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped big and slow.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn for home involving Don'tstopthemusic, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed third, Firebrand (GER), ridden by P.T. Enright, unplaced, Sommesky, ridden by M.P. O'Connor, placed fourth, and Special Cadeau (GB), ridden by B. Hayes, placed second, where it appeared Special Cadeau ran short of room and Sommesky lost its action. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. W. Flanagan stated that his mount rolled around on approach to the point of the bend but there was no room on his inner. P. T. Enright stated that he kept his racing line and was not involved. M. P. O'Connor stated that his mount took a false step but he kept his racing line. B. Hayes stated that he ran short of room and brushed the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action other than to remind M. P. O'Connor of his responsibilities under Rule 213 to report to scales anything that may have affected the running of his mount in a race.
366E WillowWarm H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the approach to the last involving Anzadam (FR), ridden by P. Townend, placed first, and Dodger Long (GB), ridden by B. Harris, placed second, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Townend stated that the horse on his inner was drifting left and he was being carried with it and he maintained his line to stop the other horse drifting. B. Harris stated that his mount was still green and received contact but his mount over exaggerated it. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise P. Townend that it was not his responsibility to use his mount to keep other horses on a straight line.
366F Close Brothers Rated Novice HdleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stormbreaker (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
P. Townend, rider of Stormbreaker (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled too hard throughout.
C.M. Quirke, rider of Milo Lises (FR), trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured.
366G Roganstown Hotel & Country Club Hcap HdlThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the third last involving Farmers Lodge, ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first, and Queen Nel, ridden by G. Brouder, unplaced, where it appeared Queen Nel got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
K. Callaghan, rider of Old Bill Barley, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened quickly.
E. D. Delany, trainer of Queen Nel, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge pulled a hind shoe in running.
366H Willie Elliott Mem. (P-Am) INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. D. Doyle, rider of Trasna Na Pairce, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Mr. D. Doyle added that one of his strikes down the shoulder was a corrective measure. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. D. Doyle was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(excessive frequency), and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended Mr. D. Doyle for three racedays.
