The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Highstreet Roller, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of being in season post race.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Highstreet Roller trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Sevvy Christiano trained by Patrick G. Kelly was noted to have blood at both nostrils post race.

E. Walsh, rider of Valdieu (FR) trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered by a faller.
P.T. Enright, rider of Great Khan trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not jump fluently.
The Stewards interviewed S.W. Flanagan, rider of Abbey Magic, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence S.W. Flanagan stated that he had misjudged the number of times that he had used his whip and had breached the guidelines by one. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that S.W. Flanagan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration and pursuant to R10(6)(a), the Stewards suspended S.W. Flanagan for six racedays.
208G Ir Stallion Farms EBF INH (M) Flat RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mary Meehan, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Santa Maria trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled coming down the hill.
The Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter,Mr. J.R. Banahan, that Mr N. McParlan, rider of Bessy Bradley, Mr F. Maguire, rider of Fanoir, Ms L. O'Neill, rider of White Quarry Rose and Mr B. O'Neill, rider of Santa Maria had failed to obey his instructions which resulted in a false start being called. Evidence was heard from the starter and riders concerned. Mr J.R. Banahan stated that these four riders did not have their mounts in a controlled manner when approaching the starting tape and had attempted to start without being signalled to do so. In their evidence Mr N. McParlan stated that he was instructed to be fairly handy and to keep his mount moving forward, Mr F. Maguire stated that he got strict instructions to be very prominent, Ms L. O'Neill stated that her mount was anxious and continued to jig jog and she had attempted to pull up and Mr B. O'Neill stated that a lot a horses had got buzzed up and he had to trot to keep his position. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the four riders were in breach of Rule 208(v)(b) by failing to obey the instructions of the starter. Having taken their previous records into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr N. McParlan, Mr F. Maguire, Mr B. O'Neill and Ms L. O'Neill for one raceday.
