L.T. McAteer, rider of Merida Pulse trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
150B Sonix Entertainment H'capThe Stewards requested a report from Adrian McGuinness, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Spanish Tenor, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Adrian McGuinness stated that his charge prefers going one bend and the return to a course around a bend coupled with an uncontested lead had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.
150C Good Enuf To Eat Apprentice H'capThe Stewards interviewed D.N. Curran, rider of Never Back Down, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that D. N. Curran was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered D. N. Curran's record in this regard the Stewards suspended D. N. Curran for five racedays.
J.A. Powell, rider of Benkogambit trained by Martin Brassil, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
Aidan Anthony Howard, trainer of Adhuil, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was slowly away.
150D Gowran Park Median Auction (Fillies) MdnR.P. Whelan, rider of Sefarina trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
150F Ladies Day July 23rd H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kalaroun, trained by Miss Tara Lee Cogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.
