The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Eoin Doyle, trainer of Cavallo Pazzo (off feed) - €200
Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Dance Jupiter (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L.F. Roche replaced C.P. Hoban on Samrogue, trained by Ross O'Sullivan (Race 7)(unwell)

153B Mallow M'dn

S.M. Crosse, rider of Gobi Star trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared when the stalls opened.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Jon Riggens trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

153E Munster Oaks Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thunder Kiss, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Yaxeni (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. G. F. Carroll stated that his mount got into a duel a long way from home and it was also a very tight finish, were he just lost count, but accepted he was in breach of R 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found G.F. Carroll in breach of R 10.3(g)(frequency)and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

W.J. Lee, rider of Rosscarbery (GER) trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the last furlong.

153F Cork Derby

The Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Hell Bent, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ms. Kate Harrington assistant trainer, stated that a change of tactics and the application of blinkers today brought about the improvement in form for her charge. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Port Sunlight trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keenly throughout this race.

153G Hot House Flowers Play July 8th H'cap

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Dulargy Star trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung right under pressure in the last two furlongs.

J.A. Powell, rider of Pink Sky At Night trained by John C. Shearman, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.
