The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Keith Henry Clarke, trainer of Stella Acclamata (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.M. Coen replaced D.P. McDonogh on Hollywood Star, trained by Luke Comer (Race 7)(unwell)

180B Champion Lettings H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Moutarde, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Thrifty Of Digby, ridden by S. Foley, placed fifth, Saffredi (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, and Dolce Far Niente, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed sixth, where it appeared Saffredi and Dolce Far Niente made slight contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

180C Peadar Kearney's Pub Apprentice H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Smaoineamh Sile (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards advised Kevin Michael Smith, trainer of International Lady, that a repeat performance from his charge, who stood in the stalls and refused to race, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

S.R Markey, rider of Stop On Red, trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.

Neve Bennett, rider of Airgead, trained by Mrs Prunella Dobbs, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount was slowly away.

180D Irish EBF Auction Series M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Barton Key, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame. The IHRB Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed the animal was lame on its left fore.

180E Indaver Ireland H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Air Force One, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hit the road crossing wrong and hung left after.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Sunday Sovereign (GB), trained by G.A. Kingston, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount missed the break.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Air Force One, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, and Charming Lady, ridden by R. Whearty, placed sixth, where it appeared Air Force One crossed to the rail causing R. Whearty to sit momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

180F1 Smiths Of Drogheda Ford Classic H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined My Birthday Girl, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Goodbye Venice, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

R. Whearty, rider of My Birthday Girl, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled from the gates.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Veil Dance (GB) trained by John C. McConnell was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

180F2 Smiths Of Drogheda Ford Classic H'cap

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Dubai Clover, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

S. Foley, rider of Say It So, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight on the first circuit involving Fire Coral (GB), ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, and Rebel Ruler, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed fifth, where it appeared J.M Sheridan had to take a slight check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.M. Sheridan stated that he didn't give a shout and took back as he didn't have the horse to commit to the gap. R.P. Cleary stated that he wasn't aware of J.M. Sheridan on his inside but felt he left enough room down the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Churchmouse, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Churchmouse, trained by Luke Comer, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

180G Seamus Mulvaney, Crockafotha (QR) Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight on the first circuit involving Enniskerry, ridden by Mr F. Maguire, placed third, Eagle's Way (GB), ridden by Mr D. McGill, placed first, and Patrick Joseph (GB), ridden by Miss R. Hogan, unplaced, where it appeared Patrick Joseph had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. F. Maguire stated that he was in a gap where there was loads of room and he felt the whole field was heading towards the rail. He further added that he felt he did his best to keep a straight line and that Miss R. Hogans mount overreacted. Miss R. Hogan stated that she let a shout and Mr. F. Maguire cut her off completely. She further added that she clipped a heel and had to take back. Mr. D. McGill stated that he was in a pocket when he felt pressure from his outside and had to take back. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr. F. Maguire was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr D. McGill, rider of Eagle's Way (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. D. McGill was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), they suspended him for two racedays.
