The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Denis Gerard Hogan, trainer of Expound (GB) (Ground) - €200
Aidan Anthony Howard, trainer of Edge Of My Seat (Ground) - €200
Emmet Mullins, trainer of Rose In The Park (Late withdrawal) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Mr. E. Finnegan rode Mustameet Secret (reserve) trained by Hugh Paul Finegan (Race 5)
K.M. Donoghue replaced Rachael Blackmore on Moonlight Jazz (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 2)(transport difficulties)

P.T. Enright, rider of Move It, trained by Josh Halley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left at the first hurdle.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Evolving (GB), trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

A. McCurtin, rider of Hakensack, trained by Daniel G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a false step after the second last.

T. Ryan, rider of Next Week, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free in the early stages of this race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A. McCurtin, rider, in relation to the content of the report that he made to the Clerk of the Scales. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he felt his mount took a false step and became unbalanced on approach to the second last hurdle, he then considered pulling his mount up but was surrounded by horses which resulted in him jumping the hurdle. He further stated that his mount felt sound after jumping the hurdle and felt he would continue on but wasn't overly hard on him as the race had got away from him and felt his race was also run after being up with the pace throughout. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hakensack, trained by Daniel G. Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

182C1 Mallow H'cap H'dle

P.T. Enright, rider of No Show, trained by James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a false step leaving the back straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Due Course, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

182C2 Mallow H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Get It Right, trained by Sean Aherne, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Nicholas Street, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed sixth, West Clare, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed fifth, and Grizabella, ridden by J.S. McGarvey, unplaced, where it appeared West Clare, shifted right causing both horses on his inside to come together momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.B. Foley, rider of Dream Escape (GB), trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't travel early.

The Raceday Stewards informed Paul John Gilligan, trainer, that a repeat performance of his charge Bobbisilver, who refused to race may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

The Raceday Stewards enquired from Mr E. Staples, rider, regarding his fall on the home turn, Mr. E. Staples stated that on rounding the bend he briefly touched the hind quarters of the horse on his inside and slipped up independently thereafter. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied no further action was warranted.

Liam P Cusack, trainer of Pearlofflorida, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge ran too freely early on.

182G Declan Nerney Plays Live INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mint Approved (FR), trained by Sean Thomas Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. H.T. Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr J.M. Fennell, rider of Goodmancon, weighed in at 1.3lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that that he had kick back on him which he felt attributed to the discrepancy. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record (second offence), they suspended him for two racedays.
