The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

181A Meath Farm Machinery Claiming Race

L.T. McAteer, rider of Fox Leicester, trained by John M.Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Tai Sing Yeh, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled coming out of the stalls.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Sister Mila, trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room at the two furlong pole.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from M.C. Grassick, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Amanirenas, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Rob Donnelly, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that they ran him back too quickly from his previous run and they felt he may benefit from the longer time between runs. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

181B Irish EBF Median Sires Series (C&G) M'dn

R.P. Whelan, rider of Midnight Stagger, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged right out of the gates.

181C McNally's Pharmacy 365 H'cap

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from H.D. McGuigan, trainer of Roderick, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Thomas Gibney, trainer of Imposing Supreme, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

181D Landy, Muldoon & Co M'dn

N.M. Crosse, rider of Turn And Burn, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Turn And Burn, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, and Your Day To Shine, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, where it appeared Turn And Burn ran short of room momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

181F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately four furlongs from home involving Edella, ridden by S.P. Bird, unplaced, and Starlight Legacy, ridden by R. Whearty, unplaced, where it appeared Starlight Legacy was hampered on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.P. Bird stated that his mount overexaggerated her movements and drifted left but felt he had corrected her immediately. R. Whearty stated that he felt pressure from Edella who drifted in on top of him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S.P. Bird was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Boyne Princess, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

S.P. Bird, rider of Edella, trained by Liam McAteer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted in turning in.

R. Whearty, rider of Starlight Legacy, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered turning in.

181G1 Dore & Co. Solicitors H'cap

The Raceday Stewards held an enquiry prior to race seven, pursuant to Rule 87, to consider a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer, Emma Costello who reported that Selective Power, trained by Thomas Coyle, was presented for identification with residue on its lips. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Thomas Coyle stated that he had administered an electrolyte with the feed today at twelve o'clock. He further added that his charge is very hard on himself and its just routine to help the horse. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards under the provisions of Rule 87(ii)(d) ordered the withdrawal of Selective Power and ordered a full regulatory sample to be taken.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Party Moon (GER), trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Party Moon (GER), trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Building Bridges (GB), trained by Gary McGill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Miss Heartbreak, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action after the road crossing.
