P. Hanlon, rider of Sefton Warrior (GB), trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slow to jump off.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run to the second last involving Arctic Gale, ridden by D. Meyler, placed fourth, Drumgill, ridden by D. King, placed sixth, and Mill House Creek (GB), ridden by J.J. Slevin, placed third, where it appeared Mill House Creek manoeuvred left interfering with Artic Gale and Drumgill. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Meyler stated that he was on the outside and only received minimal interference. D. King stated that he had to take a slight check when Mill House Creek crossed him. J.J Slevin stated that he was waiting for a gap and when he switched out, he felt he was clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.J Slevin, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record (third offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for eight racedays.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Hugh Paul Finegan, trainer of Mustameet Secret, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the second last involving Disco Dancer, ridden by Sam Ewing, placed second, and Farfromnowhere, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, placed first, where it appeared Farfromnowhere went right on the approach to the hurdle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

141D Tote Never Beaten By SP H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Tropical Image, ridden by G.B. Noonan, Stellar Symphony, ridden by J.P. Shinnick, Hesasmoothoperator, ridden by O.R. Brown, , Daly Pursuit, ridden by M.M. McDonagh, Cullenwaine, ridden by S.D. Torrens, Knock On Steel, ridden by K. Callaghan, and Mourne Mist, ridden by A. Harvey where Mourne Mist unseated its rider after appearing to suffer interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned G.B. Noonan stated he got tight from both sides and clipped a heel as a result. J.P. Shinnick stated that he maintained his racing line. O.R. Brown stated things got tight so he took back. M.M McDonagh stated he got pressure from both sides. S.D. Torrens stated he was on the inside and maintained his racing line. K. Callaghan stated he was on the outside and didn't recieve interference. A. Harvey stated his horse stumbled independently causing him to be unseated and stated that he did not suffer interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

Shane Fenelon, rider of Hamazing, trained by E.Sheehy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action and pulled up.

K. Callaghan, rider of Knock On Steel, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened quickly and pulled up.

T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Kadys Dirha, trained by Thomas P.O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed at the start and never traveled.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Cullenwaine, trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount edged left towards the gate after the incident.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stellar Symphony, trained by Terence O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hesasmoothoperator, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound on the lateral aspect of his right hind cannon.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the second last involving Ah Remy Martin, ridden by K.E Buckley, placed fifth, Betty Dutton, ridden by M.M. McDonagh, placed fourth, and Duty Bound (GB), ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed sixth, where it appeared Ah Remy Martin went right making contact with Duty Bound. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. K. Buckley stated his mount was hanging right and upon landing after the second last his mount went to go right when as he went to use the whip with his left hand. M.M. McDonogh and K.M. Donoghue both stated they received a bump from the left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found K Buckley was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), the Raceday Stewards using their discretion suspended him for one raceday.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the straight involving Betty Dutton, ridden by M.M. McDonagh, placed fourth, Duty Bound (GB), ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed sixth, and Missus Beeton, ridden by S. Fitzgerald, placed first, where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.M McDonagh stated that he felt pressure from both sides. K.M Donoghue stated that he maintained his racing line the whole way around the bend. S. Fitzgerald stated that there was a clear gap and he had the horse to get there. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

141G Irish Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Cian Collins trainer of MoyCashel Angel to run his charge without hind shoes as he had conformed with the provisions of Regulation 16.
