The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

N.M. Crosse replaced J.A. Heffernan on Theriverrunsdeep, trained by Seamus G. O'Donnell (Race 7)(injured)

140A Return Of The Flat Claiming Race

C.D. Hayes, rider of I'll Rise, trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen and ran on to the heels of another horse after about two furlongs. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

140B House Restaurant Apprentice H'cap

H.J. Horgan, rider of Blackberry Jack, trained by Denis Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered at the bottom of the straight.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Storm Eric, trained by Jamie Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room four furlongs out and was hampered two furlongs out.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Power Drive (GB), trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to check two furlongs out.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Alma Libre, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, Blackberry Jack, ridden by H.J. Horgan, unplaced, Cu Chulainn (GB), ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, Storm Eric, ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, and Power Drive (GB), ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, unplaced, where it appeared numerous horses ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. Joyce stated that he kept a straight line. P.A. Harnett stated that he was staying on when he maneuvered to the inside of Alma Libre. H.J. Horgan stated that his mount was travelling well up the rail and he just had to take back as the gap closed. Adam Caffrey stated that he was carried across the whole way to the rail and had to check. C.J. MacRedmond stated that his mount hung off the bend and as he maneuvered back over to the rail he was pressured from his outside and had to take a small check off heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found P.A. Harnett was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard(first offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately four furlongs from home involving Morning Soldier, ridden by J. Cleary, unplaced, Cu Chulainn (GB), ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, Mr Mills, ridden by S.P. Bird, unseated, and Storm Eric, ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, where it appeared S.P. Bird became unbalanced and unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S.P. Bird stated that he felt pressure from his outside causing him to collide with the rail for three or four strides. He further added that as the pressure from his outside eased, his mount jumped back out and he lost his balance and was unseated. He concluded by stating that his mount is blind in his rail side eye. P.A. Harnett stated that he kept a straight line the whole way. Adam Caffrey stated that he received pressure from his outside. J. Cleary stated that he felt pressure from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Alma Libre (FR), ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, and Cu Chulainn (GB), ridden by P.A. Harnett, unplaced, where it appeared P.A. Harnett had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that it got tight for room as they were both on tired horses and he had to check. W. Joyce stated that his mount drifted right as he tired. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.A. Powell, rider of Port Louis, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room up the straight.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Auburn Avenue, trained by Chris Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not travel early on.

140G See You Next Friday H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Iva Batt, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, Wild Mountain, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed sixth, and Aurora Nova, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.T. Keane stated that just as he quickens up Mr. Sheridans mount just rolled around. J.M. Sheridan stated that his mount is an awkward ride and just rolled left when he struck him. D.P. McDonogh stated that he was pushed from his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Eurielle, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, Wild Mountain, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed sixth, Theriverrunsdeep, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, Gegenpressing (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth, and Atbay, ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that he had to take a check. W.J. Lee stated that he took back out of the gap. G.M. Ryan stated that he was carried a little to the right as he was going backwards. C.D. Hayes stated that it got very congested but no contact was made. J.M. Sheridan stated that he tried his best to keep his mount straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Wild Mountain, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left in the straight.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Reinforce, trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Net A Porter Queen, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room a furlong out.

M.W Hassett, rider of American In Paris, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls.
