The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Alessia Fernanda, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shorty after leaving the stalls involving Alessia Fernanda, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, and Quantum Light, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed third, where it appeared the two horses came close together momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that he wanted to ride for better ground but his mount changed legs on to the right lead and slight contact was made. A.J. Slattery stated that he was tracking horses in front of him and felt slight contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted Mr. Hayes' evidence in which his mount switched legs to the right lead which exaggerated the movement. However, they did advise Mr Hayes to be more aware of horses on his outside in future.
