At the request of the Raceday Stewards, K.M. Donoghue, rider of Upthereforthinking, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled on the bend leaving the back straight.
286B Conor Cassidy Cars H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Paul Nolan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Park Of Kings, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Paul Nolan, Trainer, stated that the first time application of a tongue tie had contributed to the apparent improved performance today. The Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
286C Thomas A. Murray Bar (Mares) M'dn H'dleR.P. Treacy, rider of Cedar Wood, trained by David M.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by Champersinthepark as it was quickly pulled up before the fourth last hurdle.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.P. O'Connor, rider of Kilbarry Saint (FR), trained by C. O'Keeffe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly right up the home straight.
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Hurricane Honey, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer Dr. Sarah Ross confirmed that Hurricane Honey was seen to have blood at both nostrils post race.
S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Champersinthepark, trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.
286E Ballymore Irish EBF Kilbegnet Nov. S'chThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Path D'oroux (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
286F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap S'chThe Raceday Stewards received a request from S. Curling, trainer of Bonnie Kellie, to substitute the nominated rider C.M. Quirke, with P.T. Enright, due to C.M. Quirke being injured. Sam Curling, Trainer, stated that the mare fell on her previous start and that P.T. Enright had ridden her numerous times before. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the request on this occasion.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Norwigi, trained by E. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Sarah Kavanagh, rider of Lizrona, concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Sarah Kavanagh accepted she was in breach of the regulation and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Sarah Kavanagh in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and considering her record in this regard they cautioned her on this occasion.
286G Roscommon On-Course Vets INH Flat RaceMr P. Hanlon, rider of Fort Randall, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced freely.
