The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.J. Slattery replaced C.D. Hayes on Harry The Rogue, trained by Andrew Slattery (Race 2)(intended mount a non runner)
L.T. McAteer rode Hidden Land (USA) (reserve) trained by Andrew Kinirons (Race 8)
N.G. McCullagh rode Darazeni (reserve) trained by M. Halford & T. Collins (Race 2)

311A Irish EBF Median Sires Series (F) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident just outside the furlong marker involving Cornahilt Soldier, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, and Miami Sunshine (USA), ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed fifth, where it appeared W. Joyce made contact with the head of Miami Sunshine with his whip when switching the whip from his left to his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

311B Irish EBF Median Sires Series (C&G) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards received a request from M. Halford & T. Collins, trainer of Ateenosix, to substitute the nominated rider R.P. Whelan, with N.G. McCullagh, in order to make R.P. Whelan available to ride their other runner, Darazeni, who got in as first reserve. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were not satisfied that the request conformed with Regulation 3 which states that a rider should not be permitted to switch onto a reserve unless their original mount is a non runner and as such, the Raceday Stewards denied the request.

J.A. Powell, rider of Suilleabhain, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around under pressure.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Ateenosix, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount slowly away.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Liamo, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.A. Harnett was in breach of Rule 211 and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Liamo, ridden by P.A. Harnett, Suilleabhain, ridden by J.A. Powell, and Harry The Rogue, ridden by A.J. Slattery, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that he was trying to make his way across towards the rail and thought he was clear of the other horses. J.A. Powell stated that he received pressure from his right causing him in turn to make contact with Harry The Rogue. A.J. Slattery stated that he got a bump from his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

311C Friday Night Lights At Dundalk H'cap

Cillian McConnell, rider of Invincible Larne, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Tosen Wish, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the straight.

W.J. Lee, rider of Semblance Of Order, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and lost ground.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A. Oliver, trainer of Semblance Of Order, concerning the conduct of this horse who stood in the stalls and lost considerable ground as a consequence. A. Oliver stated that he had tried to sweeten up Semblence Of Order and trick him along. He further added that a venture over jumps may help his charge change its attitude. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted A. Oliver's explanation.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Darkened, ridden by D. King, placed second, and Neverfindanother U, ridden by R. Whearty, placed first, where it appeared contact was made between the two horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the straight involving Not Just Any Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, unplaced, Dark Street, ridden by W. Joyce, placed sixth, and Sioux Princess (GB), ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Sioux Princess (GB), trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Thomas Gibney, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Neverfindanother U, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Tom Gibney, trainer, reported that a return to the track where his charge previously ran well at is what he attributes the apparent improvement in form to. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Harriet Eagle, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran keen.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Lady Leanora, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.

P.A. Harnett, rider of Dance Emperor, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lord Park, trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Cozone (GB), trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

J.A. Powell, rider of Aurora Princess, trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

311G Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'cap

L.F. Roche, rider of Ace Aussie, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Delicate Girl, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't move well in the straight.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ace Aussie, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Delicate Girl, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
