R.P. Whelan, rider of Granite Bay (GB), trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Sound Move, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room after a furlong. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards fined M.M. Rice, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared hood to Johnny The Star, prior to entering the parade ring.

312C Ir. Stall. Farms EBF Birdcatcher Nursery

J.A. Powell, rider of Dramatic Entrance, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Ocean Baroque, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried right inside the last furlong.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Emperor Of Rome, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his ground was taken and he was badly interfered with.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Staysound Susie, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly interfered with.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Ocean Baroque, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed fourth, and Back Down Under, ridden by W. Joyce, placed second, where it appeared there was slight contact between the two. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately three furlongs out involving Gold Coast Galleon (FR), ridden by M.P. Sheehy, Staysound Susie, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed third, and Back Down Under, ridden by W. Joyce, placed second, where it appeared Gold Coast Galleon clipped a heel and came down. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M. P. Sheehy stated that Staysound Susie rolled to its left and he clipped her heel and came down. A. J. Slattery stated that his mount shied away from the horse on his outer when the rider used his whip. W. Joyce stated that he maintained his line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and they therefore took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Emperor Of Rome, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, Staysound Susie, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed third, and Dramatic Entrance, ridden by J.A. Powell, unplaced, where it appeared Emperor Of Rome and Staysound Susie both ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. A. Heffernan stated that Dramatic Entrance drifted, causing the interference. A. J. Slattery stated that he felt there was room when he went for the gap. J. A. Powell stated that his mount drifted right but he did everything he could to keep it straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found A. J. Slattery, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two race days. .

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident as the horses left the stalls involving Gandolfo, ridden by R. Whearty, Jalaybee (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, Clarita, ridden by L.F. Roche, and Neo Smart, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, where it appeared there was contact between several horses. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

312D RFL Steels Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thunderbear, trained by Jack W. Davison, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Coachello (FR), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth, and Big Gossey, ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. T. Keane stated that the other horse edged out but it did not effect him. R. Whearty stated that he edged out into the gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

312E SP Or Better Guaranteed With Tote H'cap

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Blairmayne, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

312F Oktoberfest Weekend H'cap

W. Joyce, rider of Something Nice, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Lust, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Verhoyen (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fifth, Hurricane Ivor, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, placed sixth, Joe Masseria, ridden by R. Whearty, placed fourth, and Facethepuckout, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed first, where it appeared Lust ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. T. Keane stated that his race was run when he ran out of room. W. J. Lee stated that he rolled slightly left. K. G. Kennedy stated that things got a bit tight. R. Whearty stated that his mount leaned left off the rail but he did all he could to keep straight. L. F. Roche stated that he came in slightly as the horses funnelled. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
