The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Under the provisions of Rule 90, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Ugo Du Misselot (FR), trained by T.E.Hyde, as the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. Furthermore they informed the trainer that Ugo Du Misselot (FR) would be ineligible to run until the error is corrected to the satisfaction of the IHRB Veterinary Officer and any period of suspension imposed has expired.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Commander Lady, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
A. McCurtin, rider of Johanna Yeats trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
At the request of the Stewards, J.S. McGarvey, rider of First Revolution, trained by Sean Thomas Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very free for much of the race before emptying very quickly.
038C Cloneen (Mares) H'cap H'dleThe Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Janeymac, ridden by D.E. Mullins, unplaced and Moll Dote, ridden by B.J. Foley, unplaced, where it appeared that Moll Dote moved onto the racing line of Jameymac causing D. E. Mullins to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found B. J. Foley in breach of rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered B.J. Foley's record in this regard the stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
038D Rosegreen H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fourina, trained by Mark Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Stewards interviewed M.P. Fogarty, rider of More Music, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found M. P. Fogarty in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), (frequency), and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballea Fox (GB), trained by Seamus Spillane, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be heat stressed post race.
P.J. Rothwell, trainer of Elusive Exclusive, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge did not handle todays going.
038F Ballylooby Mares H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Une Lavandiere (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
038G Irish Stallion Farms EBF(M)INH Flat RaceThe Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Daphne Moon, ridden by Mr J.J. Codd, placed second and The West Awaits, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, where it appeared that interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the winner had not improved her finishing position as a result of the interference caused and therefore made no alterations to the Judge's placings. They did, however, find Mr. P. W. Mullins in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for one raceday.
GENERAL INFORMATIONOwing to the ground conditions the third last fence was omitted from all circuits in all the chase races today.
