The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Jam Man, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

The Stewards interviewed G.F. Carroll, rider of Ideal Pal, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that G.F. Carroll was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended G.F. Carroll for 6 racedays.
112E MansionBet Proud To Support Racing H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident about 200 yards from the finish involving Celtic High King, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fourth and Feminista, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed second, where it appeared that Celtic High King was tight for room and collided with the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action.
S. Foley, rider of Psyche (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not act on the ground when racing down the hill.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that L.T. McAteer was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended L.T. McAteer for 6 racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pretty Boy Floyd, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a small wound on the inside of his right hind pastern otherwise he was post race normal.
C.T. Keane, rider of Pretty Boy Floyd trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no room to challenge in the straight.
G.M. Ryan, rider of Loaded trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount acted up in the stalls.
