The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Principalship (GB), trained by Augustine Leahy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
P.B. Beggy, rider of Plunkett (GB) trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right all the way.
At the request of the Stewards, A.C. Persse, rider of Sydney Blues, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount met with a wall of horses, that he got no run and he had to sit up.
113C Well Done To All Frontline Staff H'capC.P. Hoban, rider of Buachaill Or trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got checked in the straight.
L.F. Roche, rider of Formyboys trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jinked right in the closing stages.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Sable Camp trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to check off heels.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Formyboys, ridden by L.F. Roche, unplaced, Sable Camp, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced and Jm Barrie (GB), ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed fifth, where it appeared that Sable Camp ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental and they therefore took no further action.
At the request of the Stewards, A.M. Glynn, rider of Agent Zero (FR), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was not able to quicken over todays shorter trip, having previously run over further.
113D Limerick RaceThe Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Geological, ridden by D.W. O'Connor, placed fifth, No Needs Never, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, placed fourth and Rhydwyn, ridden by L.F. Roche, placed second, where it appeared that No Needs Never ran short of room and had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the judges placings and they took no further action. M. P. Sheehy was accompanied by Mr. Brendan Powell at this enquiry.

113E It's Good To Be Back At Limerick H'capL. F Roche, rider of Havana Breeze trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
T.P. Madden, rider of Procurator trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran onto heels in the final furlong.
The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Reddiac, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, unplaced, Han Solo (GB), ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed second and Havana Breeze, ridden by L. F. Roche, placed sixth, where it appeared that Reddiac ran short of room and had to check off heels. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards acknowledged L. F. Roche's report that his mount had hung right when under pressure in the closing stages and that any interference caused was accidental and they therefore took no further action.
113F Martin Molony StakesThe Stewards requested a report from Emmet Mullins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Oriental Eagle (GER), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Emmet Mullins reported that his charge ran very free on it's previous run. He said his charge settled much better today and ran without a tongue tie and he felt a combination of both had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form . Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
W.M. Lordan, rider of Pondus (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had to check and to switch.
113G Patrickswell M'dnAt the request of the Stewards, C.P. Hoban, rider of Thosedaysaregone, trained by C.Byrnes, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired close to the line and was unable to hold it's position.
Rachael Blackmore, rider of Da Dou Ron Ron (FR) trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was lame on pulling up.
