121A Tally-Ho Stud Irish EBF (C&G) M'dn
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cooper's Hawk, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
121B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dnB.M. Coen, rider of Canford Light trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung in the straight.
The Stewards enquired into the fall of Mona's Star, ridden by N.G. McCullagh approximately six furlongs from the finish. N. G. McCullagh reported that his mount lost his hind legs and slipped up independently. R.C. Colgan, rider of Free Royal, confirmed N.G. McCullagh's report as he was tracking Mona's Star at the time of the incident. Having considered the reports and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that Mona's Star fell independently.
121C Equine MediRecord H'capS. Foley, rider of Flash Gordon trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not let himself down on the ground.
121D Tattersalls Irish 2,000 GuineasThe Stewards enquired into possible interference about one and a half furlongs from the finish involving Armory, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fourth and Siskin (USA), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, where it appeared that Siskin (USA) may have caused some interference when manoeuvring outwards to make his challenge. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings' but advised C.T. Keane to ride with more care.
The Stewards enquired into possible interference over one furlong from the finish involving Fort Myers (USA), ridden by M.C. Hussey, unplaced, Lope Y Fernandez, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third, Royal Lytham (FR), ridden by E.J. McNamara, placed eighth and Sinawann, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed sixth, where it appeared that Fort Myers, Royal Lytham and Sinawann were tight for room with resulting interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings'. They did, however, consider that J.A. Heffernan had caused interference by riding carelessly. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended J.A. Heffernan for 2 racedays.
M.C. Hussey, rider of Fort Myers (USA) trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received interference inside the final one and a half furlongs.
S. Foley, rider of Free Solo trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount choked in running.
R.P. Whelan, rider of Sinawann trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room in the closing stages of this race.
121F Coolmore Ten Sovereigns Gallinule StksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mythical (FR), trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.
121G Paddy Power Irish LincolnshireR.P. Cleary, rider of Desert Wind trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no luck in running.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Bashiyr trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room inside the final two furlongs.
