The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Brook On Fifth (off feed) - €200
D. K. Weld, trainer of Mia Maria (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.T. Keane replaced C.D. Hayes on Even So, trained by G.M.Lyons (Race 7)(Stewards permission)
J.M. Sheridan rode Severus Alexander (reserve), trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 1)
A.J. Slattery rode The Mouse Doctor (reserve), trained by A.J.Martin (Race 5)

122A EquiNectar H'cap

James J. Doyle, rider of Bal De Rio (FR) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no luck in the straight.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of King Pellinor trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference after about 60 yards.

The Stewards enquired into an incident early in this race involving Zenon, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, unplaced and King Pellinor, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, unplaced, where it appeared King Pellinor ran short of room on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame and therefore took no further action.

122C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Karrakatta trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference turning for home.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Slaney East trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered leaving the gates.

122D Platinum Bloodstock & Eyrefield H'cap

A.J. Slattery, rider of Sunset Nova trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Oneiroi trained by D.Buckley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of the stalls.

James J. Doyle, rider of Sundance Star trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no run.

S. Foley, rider of Annabelle Rock trained by Miss Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got tightened leaving the stalls and was outpaced in the closing stages.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sundance Star, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

122E Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas

The Stewards received a request from A. Oliver, trainer of Apricot Moon (GB), to substitute the nominated rider B.M. Coen, with R.P Whelan after his mount became a a non runner. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the request did not conform with the provisions of Regulation 3 and therefore denied the request.

S. Foley, rider of Albigna trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was uncomfortable on the ground.

122G Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ragusa' H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Kasperenko (GB) trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right under pressure inside the final two furlongs.

122H Lanwades Stud Stakes

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Hamariyna, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed second, Lady Wannabe, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth and Silk Forest, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental. They made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Hamariyna trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right under pressure.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Lady Wannabe trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was bumped and clipped a heel.
