R.P. Whelan replaced N.G. McCullagh on Shafdar, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins (Race 6)(intended mount a non runner)321A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Grace My Love, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, and Guilty Pleasure, ridden by P.A. Harnett, placed fourth, where it appeared J.A. Heffernan had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan stated that his mount was weakening in the straight when he suffered interference. P.A. Harnett stated that a gap was opening and the horse in front of him was retreating so he moved towards the railing. However, on further questioning he accepted he wasn't clear of Grace My Love when moving towards the railing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found P.A. Harnett, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (third offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for eight racedays.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the home straight involving Faberi, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, and Subsonic, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed second, where Subsonic was laying down her challenge and Faberi reacted to this manoeuvre. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
321B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dnThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Kilcrea Rock, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed second, and Serious Contender, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed first, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of The Angelic Doctor (GB), trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount put its back up in the parade ring when mounted and he instructed the handler to cross the bottom of the parade ring in order to exit quickly in the interest of safety. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

321E Killavullan StakesThe Raceday Stewards received a request from Chris Armstrong, Authorised Representative for A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Antelope Canyon, to substitute the nominated rider B.M. Coen, with D.P. McDonogh, due to Mr. McDonogh's intended mount being a non runner. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards denied the request on this occasion as they were satisfied that the request did not conform with the provisions of Regulation 3.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident approximately one furlong from the finish involving Antelope Canyon, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed second, and Comanche Brave, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed fourth, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
