The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.J. Gilligan rode Wee Charlie (reserve) trained by Thomas Gibney (Race 1)
N.M. Crosse rode San Aer (reserve) trained by Thomas Mullins (Race 5)
R.P. Cleary rode Sylkie (GB) (reserve) trained by Daniel John Howard (Race 7)
Shane Fenelon replaced Niall Moore on Phoenix Cowboy (USA), trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 1)(intended mount a non runner)
J.W. Kennedy replaced Sam Ewing on Hurricane Georgie, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(intended mount a non runner)
D.J. Gilligan replaced D.E. Mullins on Grange Walk, trained by John Patrick Ryan (Race 4)(stood down).

220A Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Thomas Gibney, trainer of Wee Charlie, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Neveradullmoment, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C.G. O'Dwyer was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for three racedays.

220B Kenny Galway H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sea Music, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the fact that Another Choice, trained by Matthew J. Smith and ridden by J. Smith, did not continue to proceed around the parade ring and be mounted on the walk as required under the provisions of Regulation 16. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. In his evidence, the trainer stated that his charge would have become worked up doing the full lap and told the rider to turn back and go straight out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Matthew J. Smith was in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they fined him €200 on this occasion.

220D Lord Hemphill Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards received a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Grange Walk, to substitute the nominated rider D.E. Mullins, with D.J. Gilligan (3lb claimer) who would have to carry 4lbs overweight, due to the declared rider having been stood down following a fall. The trainer stated that he was unable to find any other jockey to make the weight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the request on this occasion in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 3, it being an exceptional circumstance.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Barnacullia, trained by Michael Mulvany, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Barnacullia, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

220G Village Salthill H'cap

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Sinbad My Dad, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
