298C1 Golf At Gowran Park H'cap H'dle

S.D. Torrens, rider of Cailin Aibrean, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

P.T. Enright, rider of Great Rainbow (FR), trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he thought his mount felt lame on pulling up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Great Rainbow (FR), trained by Brian M. McMahon, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled his left fore shoe.

298C2 Golf At Gowran Park H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.E. Sexton, rider, in relation to his riding under Rule 216 (ii) where he fell at the last hurdle. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his mount blew up before rolling again on the downhill. He stated that she didn't feel empty and he wasn't overly hard on her coming to the last. At the last she came up early, hit the top of the hurdle and slipped at the back of it. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.

298D EBF Pat Walsh Memorial (Mares) H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the final hurdle involving Royal Hollow, ridden by C.M. Quirke, and Amanha (FR), ridden by P.J. O'Hanlon where it appeared Amanha (FR) stumbled. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.J. O'Hanlon stated that he jumped the hurdle in third when the other horse leaned in and he ended up in a pocket and clipped a heel. C.M Quirke stated that he jumped to the right and kept a straight line to where the rail came out to meet him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

298E Golf @ Gowran Park H'cap H'dle

Ms.M.Flynn, trainer of Toor Khov, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge sustained a cut to his near fore leg and lost a shoe. This was confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Walk Away Harry, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Spinning Web, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

298F Thomastown H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined L'Un Deux Trois, trained by Oliver McKiernan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cameletta Vega, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
