313A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

S. Foley, rider of Cold Hearted, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried a bit left late on. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

313B Tifrums Irish EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident coming out of the stalls involving Brigadier Kakuru, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fifth, Iceford, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed second, and Send Harry, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

313C Irish EBF Auction Series Race Final

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dignam, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. McMonagle, rider of Dignam, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Red Scarlet, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

D.E. Sheehy, rider of Copacabana Sands, trained by Diego Dias, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

313D Irish Stallion Farms EBF Garnet Stakes

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Goldana, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Marakesh (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, and Star Galaxy, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced, where it appeared W.J. Lee had to sit momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that his mount was lugging right and going nowhere so he took a precautionary check. G.F. Carroll stated he made his move as soon as he saw W.J. Lee taking back. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

W.J. Lee, rider of Marakesh (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lugged right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the IHRB Veterinary Officer, Mr. A. Tyrrell that Azada ridden by C.D. Hayes had been marked when examined post race, the Raceday Stewards interviewed C.D. Hayes concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned and from the IHRB Veterinary Officer. Mr. A. Tyrrell showed photographic evidence of his findings which were accepted by Mr. Hayes. C.D. Hayes stated he could not offer any explanation other than he had recently purchased a new whip and this may have accounted for the Veterinary Officers concerns. He further suggested that the animal was light-skinned which may have been a contributing factor. On further questioning, Mr. A. Tyrrell stated that in his opinion the marks were not very serious. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action on this occasion.

313E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Bluebell Stakes

G.M. Ryan, rider of Lady Doris, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. B. Sheridan, IHRB Clerk of the Course, concerning the fact there was an unexpected eight minute delay to the start of this race. Evidence was heard from Mr. B. Sheridan, who stated that when the horses started to load, a rider in the stalls suggested to him that the inner railing should be slightly moved. In view of this opinion and in the interests of safety Mr. Sheridan and his ground staff adjusted the railing accordingly which led to a delay in the off time of this race. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards accepted that the delay was with good reason and therefore took no further action.

313F Colm White Bookmaker Beggar's End H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chemistry, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

313G TRM - From Ireland To World Appr. H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chicago Storm (GB), trained by Chris Timmons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

313H Tote Never Beaten By SP H'cap

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Alfheim, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
